Inside Smriti Mandhana’s Rs 34 crore net worth: Match fees, WPL salary, brand deals, and luxury lifestyle – Lifestyle News

Are we still dreaming? That’s how Indian cricket fans and players felt after the Indian women’s team lifted their first-ever World Cup title on Sunday. In a thrilling final at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, Harmanpreet Kaur’s team beat South Africa by 52 runs, thanks to brilliant all-round performances from Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma.

Among the stars of this golden generation is vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, one of the most loved and consistent performers in women’s cricket today. Ever since making her debut in 2013, the left-handed opener has grown into one of the most dependable batters in the world, and one of India’s richest female athletes.

    Dominating the field

Smriti Mandhana’s batting is known for its powerful shots. Over the years, she has scored runs in all formats and against top teams. In 2025, she made history by hitting the fastest ODI century by an Indian, securing her place at the top of the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings.

Her leadership stood out during the 2024 Women’s Premier League (WPL), when she led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to their first-ever title. It was a proud moment for both her team and women’s cricket in India.

One of the richest Indian women cricketers: Net worth, lifestyle and more

According to CricTracker, Smriti Mandhana is among the highest-earning women cricketers in the country. She holds a Grade A central contract with the BCCI, which gives her a retainer fee of Rs 50 lakh per year. On top of that, she earns Rs 15 lakh per Test, Rs 6 lakh per ODI, and Rs 3 lakh per T20I as match fees taking her total net worth to Rs 34 crores.

However, her biggest payday came from the Women’s Premier League. During the inaugural WPL auction, Royal Challengers Bengaluru bought her for a massive Rs 3.4 crore per season, making her one of the highest-paid female cricketers in the world. That single deal significantly boosted her financial standing and fame.

    The face of top brands

Off the field, Smriti Mandhana is a marketer’s dream. Her popularity, charm, and clean image have made her one of the top choices for brands. After leading RCB Women to their WPL victory, her brand value reportedly rose by 30 per cent.

As per DNA, she has endorsed a wide range of global and Indian companies including Hyundai, Hero Motocorp, Red Bull, Garnier, Nike, Mastercard, Havells, Wrangler, Gulf Oil India, Bata’s Power sportswear brand, Herbalife, PNB MetLife, Equitas Bank, Rexona, and Unicef India, among others.

As per CricTracker, each endorsement deal is reportedly worth Rs 50–75 lakh, depending on the brand and campaign. Together, her endorsements bring in crores every year, making her one of the top-earning women athletes in India.

    Smriti Mandana’s home in Sangli

Despite her fame, Smriti has stayed close to her roots. She lives in her hometown Sangli, Maharashtra, where she owns a spacious, modern home with elegant interiors. The house features a personal gym, library, home theatre, and a beautiful garden all designed to help her unwind between tours.

Inside her home, there’s a special cottage-turned-gallery that displays her many trophies and awards, a quiet space she often shares with her family. According to DNA, Smriti also owns properties in Mumbai and Delhi, balancing her life between the calm of her hometown and the hustle of India’s cricketing capital.

She also runs her own business, a restaurant called SM-18 Sports Cafe in Sangli, named after her initials and jersey number. It’s a hangout spot for locals and fans, filled with cricket-themed decor and personal memorabilia.

    Smriti Mandana’s luxurious car collection

Smriti’s car collection reflects her success and love for her family. Her first car was a Maruti Suzuki Swift, which she gifted to her father in 2015. Later, she bought a white Hyundai Creta for her brother. Today, her garage also includes a Range Rover Evoque worth around Rs 70 lakh, along with other luxury vehicles.

Mandhana once said her brother often jokes about her getting an Audi or BMW someday, but her dream car isn’t a luxury sedan. “I want to own a van,” she once said in an interview.

Whether it’s her batting brilliance on the field or her growing success off it, she continues to inspire a generation of young cricketers.
