Coffee Planet, the Middle East’s leading specialty Arabica coffee roaster from Dubai, has partnered with HB Brands, founded by Hamdan Al Bader and one of Saudi Arabia’s largest F&B providers, for a newly designed coffee outlet. The company has just signed a franchise agreement.
The 10-year agreement will see the opening of 70 stores across the Kingdom, allowing customers to enjoy freshly roasted 100% Arabica specialty coffee, paired with healthy food, in a cozy and relaxing environment. do.
The agreement was signed in Dubai in the presence of Coffee Planet Managing Director Robert Jones and HB Brands Chief Operating Officer Martin Venter.
With franchise locations in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Malaysia, this new concept is created by passionate franchise partners who are dedicated to the brand’s commitment to helping more people experience the world’s finest Arabica coffee. This is consistent with Coffee Planet’s strategic goal of increasing its global presence.

In its 26-year history, HB Brands has included Canton, TakoHut, RomaWay, Cinnabon, Wingstop, Sizzler House and Shawirmarito stores. Its portfolio is already expected to reach 320 stores by the end of August 2017.
The design of the new Coffee Planet Outlet blends modern Dubai with traditional Arabia.
Additional inspiration comes from the ‘crop-to-cup’ ethos, including warm earthy tones, exposed brick, brass, black tile and wood finishes.
The two companies are considering collaborating to offer branded specialty coffee to compete with coffee chains already operating in Saudi Arabia.
