Karnataka Innovation and Technology Minister shared the success of the ‘Elevate 2023’ initiative. He said a total of 817 startups have joined the program, which is a huge leap from six years ago. This is a positive step in promoting innovation and technology in the state.
Elevate 2023, an initiative of the IT/BT department, operates under the Elevate/Idea2PoC scheme. The program aims to identify great startups in the state and help them grow and grow by providing government support for their products and solutions. To be eligible for this support, startups must be registered in Karnataka, have a revenue of more than Rs 100 crore since inception, and fall within the maximum age limit of 10 years.
Through his post on X, Minister Kharge expressed the government’s unwavering commitment to fostering the growth of startups. He added that the government is committed to supporting the growth of startups in the state with support.
In addition to the good things happening with the Elevate initiative, Minister Kharge shared plans to create a special place in Bangalore called the Center of Excellence for Wireless and Wired Technology. This place is supposed to be a base for conducting research.
At a recent conference held in Bengaluru, the state outlined its determination to emerge as a leader in connectivity. The new Center of Excellence will be crucial in supporting technological advancement in Karnataka. They aim to leverage the Center’s skills to further improve the state, including in wireless and wireline technologies.
Karnataka is doing a great job in supporting startups and encouraging technological advancement. “Elevate 2023” shows how focused the state is on innovation and growth.
