January’s Red Back Hymn Singing by Bill and Linda Hallander is just around the corner. This month’s event will be held at Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road.
Hallander said special guests will be the award-winning Brown Family Southern Gospel Group. “I’ve followed this family since the beginning of their career and I’m really happy that they want to come back to Chattanooga. The family has a love for the hymns that we grew up singing and , I look forward to having my family guide us,” Hallander said.
Hamilton County Supervisor Bill Hallander opens his farm on the third Sunday of each month for friends from all over the world to gather and sing the Great All Hymn from the Redback Hymn.
The singing begins at 6:00 and is free, but a love offering will be taken. It opens at 5:30, but there’s plenty of parking.
Sherry Brown said the group is looking forward to returning to Chattanooga and seeing all of their friends. She released the following:
