SentinelOne, an artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity platform, plans to acquire PingSafe in a cash and stock deal.
PingSafe previously raised a $3.3 million seed round in July 2023, co-led by Surge, Tanglin Venture Partners, and Sequoia Capital. California-based SentinelOne, an autonomous cybersecurity solutions company, has acquired three of his companies to date.
Co-founded in 2021 by Anand Prakash and Nishant Mittal, PingSafe AI performs deep scans rather than just cloud configuration checks like other CSPM solutions on the market. The company’s product is an advanced version of his CSPM that provides detailed analysis of corporate assets, vulnerabilities, and cloud credential leaks.
PingSafe AI integrates the capabilities of CSPM by automatically detecting vulnerabilities and preventing threats from spreading laterally across the enterprise without impacting workload performance.
The Bangalore-based company says it has recorded a four-fold growth in its user base in the last 12 months and serves companies like Flipkart, Razorpay, PolicyBazaar, SBI General and Tata 1mg.
PingSafe’s acquisition of CNAPP, combined with SentinelOne’s cloud workload security and cloud data security capabilities, provides enterprises with a fully integrated platform to improve coverage, hygiene, and automation across their cloud footprint. It is expected that
