Stock Market Live Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex opened today’s trade session little changed. The indices were trading with losses after giving up its first-hour gains.
The Nifty has oscillated between gains and losses in each of the four trading sessions this week. The bulls are looking to defend every possible dip, but crossing the recent highs and sustaining above 26,000 is proving to be a challenge.
The earnings-heavy week finally culminates today with another session dominated by 30-plus companies reporting results. Results reactions are also coming in from stocks such ITC, Swiggy, Dabur, IEX, Manappuram Finance, Bandhan Bank, NTPC, Macrotech and others. Maruti Suzuki, GAIL, BPCL, ACC, Vedanta, Bharat Electronics, Balkrishna Industries, GCPL, Dr. Lal Pathlabs, among others will also be reporting results today.
The Nifty needs a close above the 25,795 mark to register a weekly gain.
